General Instructions

Before you proceed to register yourself for entrance examination you must ensure that you have read and understood the eligibility criteria for each discipline / programme of study for which you intend to take the entrance examination in the prospectus.
You should fill your correct basic and academic details like Name, DOB, Address, Contact No., and Discipline / programme of study subsequently under circumstances.

Chose you password between 6-10 characters. Please remember your password and don’t share with others.

Before final submission of online Application form, read the declaration carefully and give your consent on it. You are required to upload a recently taken scanned photograph and signature in JPG format. Photograph preferably taken on or after 1-Jan-2013 only have to be uploaded (preferable width 350px and height 400px) and size less than 300 KB. Signature size should be less than 300 KB(preferable width 400px and height 100px). The maximum file size for Photo and Signature is 300 KB, failing which you will not be able to complete your application. So you must check your information details carefully final submission of your application form.

No written acknowledgement will be issued for the receipt of the application. However, the candidate can verify
application status on JNU website after a fortnight of submission. If you see any discrepancy, call us on Phone No. 1860-180-1813.

After successful filling of On-line Application Form, a Confirmation Page will be generated for each and every candidate bearing the entire information as filled by them along with a Unique Application Number which the candidate can use in future correspondence. Registration number will be allotted at the time of Admit card generation.
The candidates is required take a printout of confirmation page and send it to Section Officer (Admissions), Room No.28, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi - 110067 latest by 28th March, 2013. The Confirmation Page will work as Application Form for the candidate.
